When I am not designing, I am volunteering. When I graduated college I started running and when I moved to Dixon I joined a local running group.  Through this running group, I started to volunteer with a local running organization photographing their races.  I love capturing the the accomplishments of the runners and their emotions in photos, as well as making friends with all of the other volunteers and racers.  As the years have continued helping them I have begun to help with their social media marketing helping their races grow from 50 to 100's of participants.

After graduating college, I decided to volunteer at church as a religious education teacher.  After moving to Dixon, I was quickly recruited to  teach at St. Patrick's, as more teachers were needed.  I love spending time with children and using my creativity to help teach them through games, crafts, music and prayer.

The education committee reviews policies, strategic plans and helps brainstorm ways to increase enrollment and participation for different education related programs within the Church and School.  Through this often volunteer my talents to create ads, postcards or brochures to help market the school.

My compassion for animals has landed me as a pet/house sitter for numerous people.  Knowing how important fur babies can be, I have gained the trust of many so they can leave knowing their home and pet(s) are safe.
